# Exporting designs

> Download a selected design as a CAD site plan, Excel workbook, or PDF report.

Click **Download** above the result tables to open the **Export** dialog. The dialog exports the selected design in four formats.

| Format                    | What's in it                                                                                        | When to use it                                             |
| ------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| CAD Site Plan (.dxf)      | The site plan geometry as a CAD file.                                                               | Bring the site plan into a CAD tool to keep working on it. |
| Excel (.xlsx)             | The financial result tables.                                                                        | Analyze or re-model the numbers in a spreadsheet.          |
| Development Report (.pdf) | A full development package: design summary, financial result tables, site plan, and floor plans.    | Share the complete underwriting for a design.              |
| Design Report (.pdf)      | A design-focused report: the 3D perspective render, site plan, floor plans, and key design numbers. | Present the building design.                               |

Each export covers the design that's currently selected. Switch designs before exporting to download a different one.
