# Change your password

> Update your Parafin password from the user menu.

Open the user menu in the **top-right corner** of the screen and choose the change password option.

## Password requirements

Your new password must contain:

* At least 8 characters
* At least one uppercase letter
* At least one lowercase letter
* At least one number or symbol
